I am a retired water quality chemist living in Morehead City, NC. I have been actively creating images while working full-time, raising a family, and attending photography classes at Carteret Community College in Morehead City. Photography, for me, has fulfilled that desire to be creative, balancing and enriching my scientific and analytical background.

My images are of the everyday objects and people that fill the world around me and produce moments that make one pause. The photographs make use of color, line and pattern in order to catch the viewer's eye and bring them into the image. My intention is to invite the viewer to take a moment and see and experience those little details in life, what they may be missing in today's fast-paced culture.
